Hi all

My N810 works like a charm but .... I cannot stop it !

If I stop it, impossible to reboot :

- tthe blue line under the Nokia logo stops at 3/4 of its lenght ; the top left LED lights up and the tablet begins to boot again ... indefinitely

Of course I have reflashed it many times with the latest Diablo image, reinstall my last and the minimum apps I need. The tablets works again without any problem but if I try to reboot it , it is impossible !

Does anyone observe the same problem ?

My tablet went into a reboot loop a couple days ago, but I've been able to reboot it with no problem so far. I had to reflash it to fix the problem.

After you reflash, are you able to reboot (without having installed any programs)?

Yes after reflash the tablet is booting normally !

Of course I can test a rebbot after each installation but i have a dozen or more applications to install and it is a long time to spend.

Moreovber the problemů seems to appaer after a couple of days of normal usage ; as if something like /tmp for instance is filling.

What I would want to do is to see the trace of boot to discover what is wrong !

After a number of reboots and reflash, I think I have a pist to understand.

I have installed the necessayry soft to see the boot messages and I sse all the text messages flowing well begore the apperaing of the Nokia logo with the blue line.

I thing this moment is the moment wher the X server is launched and so I suspect a problem with X. Maybe "some" Hildon application is asking for an X service befor the X server is up ?

Is there a way to start the tablet in "console"mode like any Linux machine or to turn it into console mode ?

If yes I could see if the X server configuration is right ?
