hi, I'm a newbie here and can anyone tell me how to use vpn connection in Maemo? I used to use l2tpd/xl2tpd on Centos with PC, but there is no distribution of these on Maemo. I have tried to download the source code of xl2tpd on Maemo, but seemed Maemo doesnt have "make" to compile the source code myself...

What should I do then?

You could try and have a look here http://www.xelerance.com/software/xl2tpd. I know a member on here Fanoush has been doing a lot of work on VPN access but I think it is mostly PPtP protocol.

yes...I have download the sourcecode from that address but I dont know how to compile it on N810?

ps:Our university's vpn is L2TP over IPSec
