Are you sure that's not your phone/service providers limit? I remember I once wrote a large text message, and before my phone sent it, it said "This message is greater than 160 characters. Some older phones may not be able to receive the entire message"

Nope, I could send messages as big as 500~600 characters.

Hmm, I don't know what to say then.
I have SonyErricson W350i paired via bluetooth, dial, send SMS all ok, only problem it cuts the long message to 160 characters only.
