Yikes, good luck in finding it. Hopefully I'll have luck like you did (but sooner ) in finding my misplaced Sony Reader PRS-500... four months and counting.

I remember misplacing my Apple Newton (years ago). I thought I left it at work, so no problem. However it wasn't in the usual spot in my office. I then thought, well, it must be at home. I tore the house apart looking for it, and later the office, car, every place it might have been.

It turns out, the cleaning crew hired a bad apple and he stole it. Later on he stole our G3 Mac that we used for editing commercials, and wrecked up the place. The police found him right away (his roommate turned him in). The Newton was found, but since he couldn't get the password, he wiped out all the data. I still have it, but stopped using it. I don't really know why, except that I didn't want to go through the hassle of retraining it, and it ate batteries anyway.

I sincerely hope your NIT shows up soon!

Well, it was on your bed, and when you got on it, the mattress made the phone drop down the side of your bed, resulting in your phone being there.

I misplace things alot finding my wallet after week(s) down in the couch or a dresser drawer. I lost my N800 for about two weeks, going through the usual routine of must be at home or work, then searching both and the car thoroughly. I bought another on the buy/sell forums here.
Then as I was awaiting delivery of the new one, I found it in the car. It was in the pasenger seat then slid off toward the door on some turn. So it was between the track the seat would slide back and forth on and the door. So on my first search under the seat produced nothing, and it wasn't visible from the door.

Don't tell my wife, but I'm happy for the excuse to buy a second one. I have it set up as 'her canola mp3 player', but comes in handy when mine needs charged or is left at work.
