it seems there is some rounded corners applied that only show up when using webkit. this has the effect of slowing down the page rendering when using said engine...

Is that actually it? I was assuming it was a js issue.

I havn't tested Minimalist theme on webkit browser on tablet, the round corners show up on Chrome I know because I use minimalist theme on my Eee PC seems to fit better. I am working on a whole new design for the theme when we make the move to talk.maemo.org I'll fix things like that then as of right now I don't even have access to fix problems since I can't get Reggie to return my PMs or Emails. I hope by then I will have access.

While I appreciate the hard work people put into this... orange... and grey... and grey... thing... it uh. I can't quite put my finger on it but it feels forboding to me... if I were a new user and stumbled upon it I'd be confused as hell. Maybe I'm just used to the old awesome dark grey theme but I'm not fan. Is this whole maemo.org thing part of the forum upgrade?

(Mixing developers and Aunt Gretta who just got her tablet for xmas is going to be chaos, watch.)
