Cripes. 8gb in a class 6!? Dude. The way prices are crashing right now, it makes me wish I had waited a few months to get my 8gb'ers.

change gear, thread hijacked

I have very bad experience with 8G micro Patriot. I am using a 4 G mini or 4G micro with adapter whatever brand and it lasts and still running. I got the questionable 8G micro from patriot and it crashed 3 X and returned and exchanged 3x, with the last time, newegg simply wrote me a check and toldl me to forget it.

Question: Is this a problem of Patriot brand of the 8G micro or the adapter or the 8 G micro problem in general? Just curious to find how's everybody's experience with 8G micro in general. Please also list SD brand and adapter brand, TIA,

Bah, I've been upstaged! Ah well. If the prices on the 8gb keep going down, maybe the 16gb will soon get cheaper.

I am currently running an 8gb Patriot Class 6 MiniSD in my IT, it is full of MP3's and used daily. No card problems at all.

It came from Newegg as well.
