I really messed up my installed version of Maemo Mapper. It was downloading new maps to the N800 internal memory rather than my 16GB card. I deleted all the files in the Maps folder on the N800 and directed Maemo Mapper to use the 16GB card thinking that critical files would be recreated as needed. Apparently my assumption was wrong so I decided to uninstall Maemo Mapper and reinstall it. I did that but I am caught in limbo. Somehow the new installation is finding some left over files because I see an old route and yet I can not DL any maps. Can anyone help me with this? TIA.

Any mistake one person makes others will make. I wonder if this is something I should address in the HowTo http://FragosTech.com/MaemoMapper.
