I lost the cable that came with the N810 to connect it to the computer.

What cable is it, and can you find it at Radio Shack or Best Buy?

I couldn't find a clear answer by searching.

Thanks

It uses a standard "USB to micro USB" cable. Some GPS receivers and cell phones use that same cable. I personally use eBay to buy most everything.

yes, they should have them at most electronics stores and computer stores. make sure you get micro USB and not mini USB. the n800 uses mini, which is more common. my mp3 player uses it, my GPS uses it, my super tiny keyboard uses it, my friend's motorola phone uses it, my minidisc player (heh) uses it, and my wife's digital camera uses it. micro is less common, but still a standard connector.

Well, I've been looking for this elusive USB to MicroUSB cable, and other than Nokia, I have not found one.

I have this one from DealExtreme. The CA-101 for $4.42 shipped. (It says Nokia but I doubt that it is)

Or this for $5.41 shipped.

They are qute reliable but take a while to get to you. Maybe 2 weeks. They have lots of other goodies like car chargers if you are interested.

Some new Motorola cellular phones use micro USB. You might try looking at local electronics stores or cellular phone dealers for cables intended for them.

Yup, the new Razor and new Nextel models...

Micro USB Data Cable SKN6238A

Motorola also makes a short USB "B" mini to micro adapter so you can use a N800 cable fror the N810.

EMU / MU Adapter (micro USB adapter) SKN6252A

I have had luck finding them in T-Mobile stores in the US when needed.
