Got my LG CU500 and (used) Nokia 770. Will report back.

Okay, I have both charged up an configured. I went through the wizard for cingular phone connection. When I try to initiate a data connection via the phone, the phone appears to try, but then stops and the 770 pops up a message that says:

    Connection to phone failed.
    Try again?

I have the unlimited data plan.
The 770 connection with the phone is set up as:
    Packet Data

    access point name: ISP.Cingular
Dial-up number: *99# (the wizard used a longer number, but docs said either should work)
    I have tried both ISP.CINGULAR.COM and WAP.CINGULAR.COM
    Password: CINGULAR1

    All with same dialog.

    Suggestions?

    [5 minutes later]

Fixed! I had to use WAP.Cingular and WAP.CINGULARGPRS.COM

Does the MediaNet actually allow for that or do you have to have a dataplan like used for the aircards?

The MediaNet unlimited seems to allow it just fine!

Though I have 5 bars with 3G in the display, I'm a tad disappointed in the speed (#1), and in all the site I use that use javascript which the default browser doesn't seem to support. Is Mozilla's Minimo ready for prime time yet?

    Other than that, love it.
