When connected, it says not known device and filesystem not found, which is OK, as this cam is PTP. Now, in plain user mode nothing shows up. As root, it DOES detect the cam, and correctly idetifies it. However, given a --capture-image command it just throws an unknown error and freezes the N810 solid, so the watchdog resets it after a while. It is likely that the lock is coming from somewhere deeper (kernel or Maemo) as I managed to reproduce it by a simple lsusb -v (shows data and then after returning to the prompt - lockup). I'll try and extract some info in debug mode... The trouble is it seems that it does not manage to flush the file before it freezes.
