The $10 off code, some extra space under my "new" 21" monitor, and enough time listening to one of the little dudes* on my shoulder, made me go ahead and grab one yesterday.

*I'll figure out later whether it was the dude with horns or the one with the halo, after I've had the N810 for a while...

Woo hoo! I want to hear your analysis of the N810, considering that you've been a die-hard N800 owner like me

Are you going to buy the craves1 kit?

Well, being a cheapskate, I went with the free 7-9 day shipping, so the RX-51 might be announced before I've played with it enough to say anything, but I will post what I come up with...

Quick preview of intended use: after a month, one of them will become my daily driver, running Maemo, Xournal, and what-not I need for school, and the other one will spend a lot of time booted into Android (which I haven't tried in ages, but look forward to), Debian, and/or Mer. I'm tempted with the N810 for alternatives, as the keyboard could help with a lot of non-gtk (and some gtk) stuff, but I really don't know yet.

Absolutely; when that came out was when I first started seriously considering picking up a (cheap-enough) N810 to play with.
The Mugen battery had been out for a while, of course, and is definitely on my shopping list, but I may hold off on that. (I consider it only prudent to spend the extra ~$10 on the kit to get the cover to use standard batteries, even if I were to get the Mugen now, so I'm fine either way.)

I ordered mine on Jan. 28, and hasn't shipped yet according to their online status check. I opted for ground shipping because I am not in a hurry to get it, just wanted one before they ran out of stock. But the delay is worrisome...

Following these logics, the RX-51 would be available in the US only. Prices for the N810 in Europe are still high:
€312 for the N810 at amazon, equals almost exactly $400.
A used N800 you get there at €230, that's almost $300.

It's also possible that the RX-51 may come to the US first, as that is the bigger market.

It's possible but hardly likely (ignoring any shipping snafus).
