    nothing...

N810 and BB are paired, Ethernet looks like established, BlueSoleil icon became green, on the BB it shows in properties network connection to N810

IP for BB set to 192.168.50.1

on the N810n I've got connection:

    wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr <BT addr>
    inet addr:192.168.50.2 Bcast:192.186.50.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
    RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 Frame:0
    TX packets:595 errors:472 dropped:0 everruns:0
(there are TXs cause I tried ping BB without success)

    route table:

    default 192.168.50.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0
    192.168.50.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0
    (and record for multicast)

this all doesn't work, no even pinging

Thanks for the pand workaround for the bluetooth client fanoush. However setting up the bluetooth host also needs pand config, which is OK if your host supports it. But my bluetooth host is a N810 as well.
Any suggestion on how to get the host configured on OS2008?

Hi all, So I have a question... does anyone know where to find libicd-network-dummy ?? I managed to somehow munge my working maemo-pan into not working. Wondering why no ip was assigned while connected via pan to my phone - I was trying to use pidgin and it would always suggest that it was waiting for network connection.. (not sure when this changed I am certain I used pan and pidgin before) So in attempting to fix it, I managed to break it by uninstalling maemo-pan. While this was maybe a good idea at the time, no matter how I try to reinstall it, (via the garage page deb or in app manager) it simply complains about not having the required library. I then tried sudo apt-get install libicd-network-dummy and it tells me there is no installation candidate. After installing the deb (which was 10k and install size was 80k) i figured it might have pulled in the dependancy somehow... (maybe magic?) - after rebooting the tablet, app manager suggests that I have an update to maemo-pan and when I attempt to update, it gives me the same error of libicd-network-dummy... is there somewhere that I can find the required library? I've searched the repos for some mention of it and just can't see where it's included anywhere. I'd hate to reflash my tablet but will do so if absolutely necessary.. Any pointers would be appreciated!!

Dear Nilcheck, I have been trying to get my N810 Internet through bluetooth connection from Laptop and I found your thread. When I do './pan_start.sh' it says '-sh: ./pan_start.sh: not found'. I did all the steps you said. I copied the pan_start.sh file in Unix format in the root folder (/) using emilFM2 and converted it into executable using the chmod command. I am not sure why this error is coming. Can you guide me through the process. Thanks a lot.
