I saw a Samsung TV in a local mall that works this way. Pretty amazing, but useless for everyday use, in my opinion.

Yeah, that's exactly the point. 3DTV is a novelty and is not a good daily use item, nor is it practical. However, I'll bet you that it'll sell a lot of TV sets and game consoles while it's available. At least until people tire of it, which won't take long. lol.

Well, any comments on the Super Bowl Ads?

I just watched some (maybe all?) of them; Monsters vs. Aliens vs. Predator, SoBe, and Chuck.

Result: On a STN laptop screen, totally unwatchable. On a color CRT, quite decent. It was ads, not actual shows, so of course there was a high level of ridiculous negative depth, but there were some decent uses, and the yellow/blue was a bi*t better at equalizing brightness (with blue instead of red dark, natch) than normal red/blue.

Still irritatingly anaglyphic, and one eye is still stuck receiving a completely monochrome image, with resulting contrast hit, but not bad for an ad gimmick.

Hey what's up guys? It seems like everyone is not completely satisfied with the Intru3D animation technology that aired during the Superbowl. On behalf of Crest, I'm posting here because I think you guys would like our new 3D website, http://www.KissMein3D.com , where you can create a digital make out session in 3D (yes, in 3D). I think the 3D is more than decent and the experience is short and simple to navigate around.

If you enjoy the website as much as we do, please feel free to spread the good word or post more info about http://www.KissMein3D.com ! However you like your kisses, I’m sure there is definitely something for everyone!

So if you have your 3D glasses, get 'em on and enjoy the smoochfest!

Cheers,
