Hello,

I just got my N810 and have been searching the net for answers to two issues:

I know that the N810 has flash 9. It works on Youtube.com

However, when I try to stream music from playlist.com the browser crashes. The same thing happens when I try accessing pandora.com. Pandora will say that it is trying to execute a flash script but it is running very slowly and then hangs.

My Nokia is out of the box. No upgrades.

Thanks

Upgrade to latest firmware, then say what happens...

I downloaded the software (firmware) update wizard.

My N810 already has the latest firmware.

Playlist.com and Pandora.com, Yahoo mail (new version) are not working.

I checked the zoom and I do have shockwave flash checked.

I have the same problem. Any ideas on how to get the standalone flash player for playlist.com to work?

On Pandora, DO NOT ABORT THE SCRIPT! Say NO. It will work

I use pandora on my n810 rather regularly, there are just a couple things to be wary of:
1. It takes a while to load initally, always let scripts from pandora.com keep running (click "No" on the abort prompt) and it will eventually get there.
2. It eats battery like nobody's buisness, the only times I've not had it make it through a day (where there wasn't a crash/hung program/etc.) on battery have been because of pandora use. This is sensible as flash is pretty CPU intensive, and streaming keeps the radio active. Pandora on, screen mostly off caps out at ~4h for me.
3. Transitions and such won't always be as smooth as on a PC, sometimes there is a gap between tracks or a studder right after a track starts while it sorts things out. Its a minor issue though.
