you could buy one of the used N800s or N810s that are often advertised in the For Sale section here, then you would have rights to the images and wouldn't need to try to talk somebody here into helping you violate the copyright.
I have actually been debating that, I have the Tmobile G1, thats the device i am making the theme for. But after seeing the Echo theme and reading up on the N800\810...i am seriously considering buying one. Ebay has a bunch for pretty cheap.
It seems to be, but my G1 does a lot of the same things, has a faster processor and is a phone with 3G. I am not sure how much i will end up using it. That is the only reason im debating it. If i had a phone that did less, i would of already ordered one.
