I have the Nokia SU31 N800 Carrying Case which has also an aluminum on both sides. There is no clip it closes magnetically. With this case i can still put the n800 inside the soft slip case that came with the N800. Finally, for travel, i put the n800+SU31+soft slip case inside the Case logic hard drive case.
