Another point in Gizmo's favour is that it's able to do DTMF (touch-tones) while navigating calling trees (you know, "press 1 to go endlessly in circles...") I couldn't get Skype to do that - and it appears that this is a known issue, and that Skype really, really doesn't care about their mobile (N810) client. Yeah, I wasted money on Skype too.
David...
I have to say that I use skype a lot on my N800, and the DTMF feature does work. Maybe it's touchy. I do make sure to hold the button down for ~ 1 second while navigating 'calling trees'.

Has anyone tried using a Skype USB phone/adapter on a N8x0?
Something like this or this.
Assuming a powered USB hub is used, what additional software would be required?
