OK, so I saw this and I thought to myself "Holy crap, it is!"

Now I am going out on a limb and am going to say that I think the Kindle 2 is not as ugly as its predecessor. But I also want to say that I think that this is not going to be a competitor for the Nokia n8xx. The reason being is that it really doesn't have the same level of capability that the n8xx has. It reads ebooks(hurray!?), it connects via EVDO with no monthly charge (YAY!), it looks pretty nifty (imho), it has a token web browser (not so hot), and it has pretty good integration with google maps (good for it). The point being is that I would contemplate buying one of these just for the convenience of reading ebooks on something a little easier than my n800 or my laptop. I am also a bit of a tech junky and this thing really apeals to my inner nerd. My conclusion, yes it's cool, but no I would not replace my n800 with it. I may buy one to go along with my n800 but it just won't take its place.

if you put aarddict and wikipedia on your internet tablet it makes a pretty good offline hitch hikers guide. http://aarddict.org/
