Hi there - I've had my N810 for over a year now, and have recently re-flashed it with the latest firmware. I've gone a long time without my beloved NIT, but want to start using it again. Since it's been a while, and I'm starting fresh, I wanted to continue on with a fresh install. I've got a 2GB MiniSD card, and a Mac(don't judge). I've installed Maemo Mapper cause I couldn't imagine going anywhere without it, but get an I/O error when trying to download the repositories. I'm almost pulling my hair out I'm so frustrated looking for answers!!

How do I clear up this I/O error on my minisd card??
Are there ANY calendar programs that will sync with ICal??
I've got Skype and Maemo Mapper, what else is good, and what for?!

I've tried going through the endless forums and understand some stuff, but the rest is WAY over my head! Help me please!!

iCal, unfortunately not.

You can use 3rd party applications to sync with for example Google Calendar though. Maemo 5 will probably get iCal support.

For the I/O errors please read and use this thread http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=18043 this is for the internal flash.

Maybe your MiniSD is corrupted too.

For applications add the Extras repositories. There are tons of nice applications.

If I were you I'd stick it in a card reader on your main computer and run a disk checker on it there.

From the first sentence it looks like it can be also network i/o errors, nothing with your card. Could be due to network configuration or maybe you added some application repositories which are curently down or completely dead. Run Application manager->Tools menu->Applciation catalogue. Go through the list and either remove them or edit them and mark them as disabled. Also try to click "check for updates" and then see Tools->Log. It can give you hint which are the problematic ones.
