I think there has been more recent work done on mtPaint including fullscreen support; here is the link to the garage page: https://garage.maemo.org/projects/faint/

I'm specifically interested in OS2006 support. I'm not clear on the Faint project as to what OS that supports but I'll download it and check it out, thanks.

For the record, Faint is OS2006 compatible. It doesn't currently support full screen but that's OK, source is available.

thanks,
Frank

So I took the diffs from http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=17712 and applied them to faint. So now I have an OS2006 compatible semi hildon paint program. Open source is cool like that.

I've sent the faint admin an offer of the changes.

I uploaded the version of mtpaint with an adaptation of Bundyo's diffs to add support for the hardware buttons (fullscreen, zoom and dpad) on the faint garage page.

Bundyo, check your PM. Why don't we unify on the latest version of mtpaint that supports OS2006/OS2008? Let's get it on maemo.org, in the extras-devel repository at least and on garage. Sound good?

Yeah, sorry, got mixed up with the messages.

No problem, I just don't have the time to work on it

faint: error while loading shared libraries: libhildonfm.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

diablo uses libhildonfm.so.2
it also lacks libossothumbnail.
