Hey guys I'm getting a n810 soon, so I was wondering if u guys would like to recommend some apps for it. I'm gonna be using it for almost everythin, so u can recommend any app. Also, it'd be great if u can write a small sentence about what the app is for. Thanks!

I just got mine a few weeks ago, so I'll give you a quick list of the first things I downloaded.
Canola - an excellent media player.
MPlayer - I downloaded this exclusively to play MP4's movies.
FBReader - an e-book reading application.
Maemo Mapper - GPS mapping software. I also downloaded flite so it could voice turn-by-turn directions.
A-GPS to assist the GPS in getting locks.
GPSCamera - a camera app that embeds GPS information.
Gnumeric - spreadsheet app
Numpty Physics - A fun little game that makes good use of the tablets interface.

So far it's doing everything I want it to.

Also:
Perhaps better, dgtech, visit Downloads on maemo.org. Look at the current "pearl" and the "stars". Check out what applications have made the "fresh" and "popular" lists. Also, poke through categories that interest you and see what applications have been rated highly by others.
