It is the other way on my devices. BTW what OS version are you running on your N800? I'm running OS2007 also because of touchscreen. At the time I tried OS2008 on N800 the touchscreen sensitivity was big step back when moving to OS2008. Later/last OS2007 version improved touchscreen sensitivity a lot and that code didn't make it into OS2008 version. Os2007 registers even lightest touch so when switching devices I have problem with both 770 and N810 until my hands 'recalibrate' and I start pushing harder.

Did not try later OS2008 versions since that is what I have N810 for. Also I like the diversity in my Nokia ZOO :-) It is good for testing.

Interesting. I didn't know that the sensitivity problems with the original OS2007 release came back with OS2008 (I decided to stay at OS2007). The OS2007 upgrade that fixed the original sensitivity issues was a great improvement.

Diablo fixed the sensitivity issues that were introduced with Chinook.

Nope. I got my N800 new from amazon, and the screen is as unprotected as it was. It did get some abuse from my 4 year old son, though

I'm running the latest Diablo on both.

From what I remember, the N800 was as insensitive as it is from the beginning, regardless of operating system or settings. I'm starting to believe this is a defect in my particular device, or batch of devices. I got another N800 at the time from amazon which I sent back after a few days because of a stain on the screen, and I don't remember it being any different. I think I would have noticed the difference in the second device which I kept, if there had been one. And a co-worker who also owned an N800 was amazed by how unresponsive my N800 was when I let him try kinetic webkit scrolling some weeks ago, saying his had been much better.

Of course I could be wrong and it actually degraded over time without me noticing. I certainly used the N800 a lot, so it's definitely well worn.

I have used my N800 every day since early January 2007, and the screen works just the way it always did -- nothing indicating any wear. (Well, the sensitivity was not good in the beginning but that was fixed with that os upgrade I mentioned earlier.)

N800 is winning! i was the only one using it among my friends, guess i am making the right decision

Yeah, i was rooting for the N810 because it the most current but, I guess the hardware keyboard isn't that appealing to most or enough for an upgrade.

You gain a keyboard and gps, but loose the second sd slot. And the slot thats left becomes micro sd. Its a tradeoff imo.

It is a trade off that I have been wrestling with for a bit now. I have an n800 and I love it but the internal GPS is very tempting . . . I am not really that impressed by the keyboard though. I guess that's why I am still on the fence. But it is a fence where I have an n800 so it really isn't that bad of a spot to be in.
