I am testing USB HUB with N800. I plugged Harddrive (80G, FAT32(?)) and then a memory stick to USB HUB. N800 can recognize both and in File Manager I can copy some files from Memory Stick to HD. Then I select all files in the Memory Stick to copy them to HD. the File manager freezes at 54/888(?) twice. I can neither close or Kill File manager. N800 remembers HD and File Manager is still open after I reboot N800. I do not know there is other way to solve it but boot from flash to do fsck.
what could be the reason, bad HD, power supply having not enough juice?
Next question is:
anyone tried a USB Memory Card Reader with N800?
my idea is to connect HD and a memory card reader with N800. When the memory card of camera is full, I can move photos to HD.
thanks.

8G internal card has 512M dos + 3.0G ext2 for clone os + 3.5G ext2 for easy Debian (just file system, easy-deb-chroot uninstalled) + >512 swap.
