The program I am planning is going to be based on a P2P algorithm, to allow the information to be hosted between the tablets, without having to keep direct contact with a server. Although I am posting it here now, this will probably not be started for another few weeks. The program is originally going to be made using Java, as a project for a class. The reason that I am posting this early, is that I would like to gather names of a couple people who could help with porting the program over, as it will need to be translated to C++ and GTK+, as well as needing to be hildonized.
(Summary of the program)
The goal is to create a P2P algorithm and a client program, which will allow chat (in a certain category, between members, or in a chat room), Email between members, file transfers, and, with the permission of the forum, an interface that allows users to view the forum in an incredibly simple mode for speed using the tablet.
Please respond if you have any questions or comments, would like to help, or make a suggestion or anything that might help during the project.
Thanks.
