I finally got around to re-installing bash after the last firmware update, but when I try to install it (in red pill mode), it says its missing the bash-completion package.

that makes sense, because bash-completion doesn't seem to be listed in Application Manager.

does anyone know which repository bash-completion is in?

when using Application Manager, the "Problems" tab says:
unable to install bash
Conflict with application packages: bash
it lists the following in the dependencies tab:
Depends: base-file (>= 2.1.12)
Depends: passwd (>=1:4.0.3-10)
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.5-1)
Depends: libnurses5( >= 5.4-1)
Conflicts: bash-completion
if i try `apt-get install bash` and actually install bash, i wipe out essentially all required packages:
Nokia-N800-26:~# apt-get install bash
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Suggested packages:
bash-doc

This has been sitting for a while, I'd like to bump it. I truly miss proper bash completion on the tablet. I've got bash 3.2-1

Install it manually from the tarball instead of using the package. WFM. But make sure not to install everything into /etc/bash-completion.d unless you want a bash that takes forever to start.
