How/where might I install apps to the internal memory card on my N810 ("Nate"), rather than in that tiny amount of space that seems to be the default? I'm guessing there's a place to change the path but I just am not seeing it.

It's not quite so simple as changing a path. Please see "Booting from a flash card" in the maemo.org wiki.

Golly, I'd say it isn't! Most of that is totally greek to me...like how to "run" all of those lines of text which I'm guessing are commands... Thanks for the info anyway, sjgadsby . Off to try and find some sort of basic tutorial on how to understand all of this and what to do with it.

I've looked over penguinbait's article and that does seem a bit more understandable, thank you Snoshrk! Maybe later today I'll have a chunk of uninterrupted time to try it .
