Umm, as expected, corrupted card or corrupted swap file.

Try 2nd trick, take it to a winPC and delete the swap file folder and I am sure, this will work. As you can still see other files suggested the problem is with the swap file. At this stage, you do NOT need to repair the card nor partition, NOT at this stage. The card is salvagable. Somehow get rid of the swap file and everything will be just fine.

If it's the removable memory card, just put it in a reader on your PC and scandisk/fsck it.

You may not be able to remove virtual memory because it's in use; try rebooting then unchecking virtual memory in control panel.

I was able to fix my internal memory card by plugging the USB into my Windows XP PC and using the error-checking tool on the removable disk's Properties menu. I checked both options - fix and scan bad sectors. The latter was probably unnecessary ...

First I tried doing a scandisk/f from the command line. That found errors and said it had fixed them, and a subsequent scandisk/f didn't report errors, but it was still corrupt.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

same problem, but a directory from a sved youtube file. Found that out when Windows failed to copy that file from the N810 to Windows. All other files copied OK. After that I reformated mmc1 from N810. That fixed the problem I copied the files I needed back from Windows.
