Aye Aye, a type of lemur

    http://images.google.com/images?q=aye+aye

Due to its bizarre appearance and unusual feeding habits, it is considered by many to be the strangest primate in the world. It is the world's largest nocturnal primate.

Aye-Aye's are a nocturnal species and must be provided with things to chew on because of their continuously growing front teeth. Their middle finger is 6 inches long!! Even though they look kind of scary, they are believed to be a bad omen in Madagascar and are unfortunately killed because of that.

Reasons to pick the Aye Aye

    1) it is considered by many to be the strangest primate in the world.

No, I think I beat out King Julian there as the 'strangest primate'. Good try, though!

Gnome has a mascot, it should be obvious what it is. You just never see him (you're not supposed to see them); all you ever see is his footprints.

Thinking more about this ... he must be one-legged, or he has two right feet ... I never see a left footprint!

I'm OK with the narwhal, too. Probably prefer it. Anyone want to do more drawings of it?

But I wonder, Stupid Little Genius, if you have any inclination to try your hand at the woodpecker.
Sure thing^^ I have an inclination to draw anything that comes my way I'll start work on woodpecker and a narwhal too!

I have way to much time on my hands.....
