Modest is part of the OS, its the email reader. The Google Reader is here: http://reader.google.com Its not a program.

Google reader offline app for Maemo isn't Google reader online..
And modest? Actually, in maemo there is no modest. (in diablo).

The default email program built in is called Modest. Under communications the program simply called email is actually the previously independant program Modest. Its now built in in Diablo.

Edit : I had mistakenly typed its NOT instead of its NOW .. sorry for the confusion.

I'm using Diablo, so my question was about the indipendant Modest: is it possible to install it in diablo?
And about maemo google reader?

The version you already have (warts and all) is the latest available for Diablo. What is currently developed on modest.garage.maemo.org is targetting Fremantle.

And about maemo google reader?
This? It's meant for Bora so probably won't run, plus the deb & git repositories seem to have gone away...

I find using the iphone version of google reader, at http://www.google.com/reader/i/ on my n800 to be pretty good.
