I really do get tired of all the farting around that is necessary to do the simplest thing with the N800. All I ever wanted to do was to be able to listen to an audiobook the same as I do on my powerful Palm Zire 71.
Panucci has promise though it still lacks such elementary features such as "playlist". (I wasted many hours trying to get the Beta version running). So I have tried to get Garnet VM running so I can use Pocket Tunes. Well, now I try to install the latest Garnet VM and I get a message "Unable to install garnet-vm. Some application packages required for the installation are missing."
I can forsee a death spiral of trying to locate the missing packages, getting the wrong ones, having to uninstall the wrong ones and on and on. Sometimes I would really like to pay $ for something on the N800 just to get something that actually works. If I wanted to tinker all day I would have bought a Heathkit.

It installed fine for me on my N800. It was a fresh install though.

Does any body know how to reduce or eliminate the graffiti box in Google Maps. I would rather have more map in that space.

I have installed 5 of them, from N810, N800 to 770, flashboot or MMCboot. All are straight AppManager clicked and installed. You will have to give more info in order to understand what is goin on with you/r tablet....

Installed fine for me too. So far I don't see much functional difference in the latest release.

Here is what the error message says I am missing:

libfreetype6(>=2.3.5)
libglib2.0-0(>=2.12.12-1osso10)
libhildonfm2(>=1.2.0.6.1)
libosso19.=2.16)

Clearly the libborgarigmus has failed to initialize the moglorabundt (1.6.2.8.4.6.9.12)!

Beta 4 will install the Audible Client, but keeps crashing out when deleting one of the included audiobooks. Looks like I'm sticking with Audible on my N95. I use Panucci on my N810 now that it will open an m3u playlist.

That stems from not having the latest firmware version. What is your device, what is the current version (Control Panel > About) and which version of Garnet VM are you trying to install (OS2007, OS2008 etc)?

I supposedly have os2008 (version 2.2007.51-3) installed and that is the version of garnet vm I selected for installation.
