I am looking for a device that will play all internet videos from three specific sites. I have been told that the N810 is the best device for the job. however i was wondering if any one could take the time to try the following sites work, and if their videos play on the device. i would really appreciate it this is the only thing keeping me from buying it.

http://www.dramacrazy.net/

http://www.mysoju.com/

if not can any one recommend a device that is not a laptop.

Testing is easier if you provide direct links to pages containing videos.

I did not test these specific sites, but to my experience (since sep 2008) for web content the N810 is the best portable device. Maybe the iPhone 3Gs or 3G upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0 may be better (it supports flash).
All other devices have an inferior browser in which you have to scroll too much or a non-changeable user agent allows to show WAP pages on some sites.

The video performance of the Nokia internet tablets isn't that fabulous due to hardware limitations, but carefully converted video (such as DVDs) works ok.

With web-based video one issue is the flash software which isn't getting any more official updates. Also, streams above certain resolution tend to be unusable because the older generation CPU struggles to handle both streaming and video simultaneously.

Maybe the sites you mention work do work at this time, but if they upgrade their streams you might not have much of a safety cushion.

In truth the Nokia tablets' strength lies in other areas, especially if or when the community-oriented Mer OS update to Maemo 4 manages to bring up-to-date apps to replace the bit-rotting ones of Maemo.

If (web) video is your main interest you might like to keep an eye on the new generation of ARM-based tablets and MIDs with much improved CPU and video performance.

This forum used to be called the Internet Tablet Talk, but now that Nokia/Maemo took over this community the non-Nokia devices (that is, actual new internet tablets and such) can only be discussed in the maemo.org > Talk > Devices > "Competitors" forum.

I visit those sites regularly (waiting for Bleach right now...). However, the videos play, but not that great. There is a little frame rate hit. However, it is the best device right now for Flash video.

However, there is a great BitTorrent client on the tablets, so you can download anime straight up and play it with Mplayer (much better).
