    Texting programs?

    So, I was wondering.

Are there any texting-ish programs for the N8x0?

I mean, I know you can use AIM/MSN to text cell phone users.

But I just wanted to know if there was a dedicated program that you could easily send and receive text messages for free.

I'm one of those people without a data plan.

Skype will cost; however the version on the NIT doesn't support SMS anyway. Another reason I'm still ticked off about it not being updated since December 2007.

Google Voice via DialCentral is your best bet - it actually works. As do via AOL in RTComm.
