it's very simple actually, all you need to do is go on http://www.gronmayer.com/it/ and enable all respotories by selecting all and installing them.
the download and install pidign extras and if that does not work, than download all plugins for pidign.
it works on my tablet

Try to go here: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/pidgin/ and click on the install icon
and then instal this http://qole.maemobox.org/repository/...le-1_armel.deb

This is a very bad idea, this way you will have mixed up repositories for both diablo and chinook (and even bora...), not to mention the Extra-devel automatically activated which isn't exactly something intended for the end-user...
I haven't been using my n810 for a while so I haven't been using pidgin on it, either. I've tried almost everything written here about this issue, but is still doesn't work. I'll be very grateful if someone can explain to me what to do to make ICQ work.
Hardware: Nokia n810. System: Maemo 4 - Chinhook.
I've tried some instructions written on this forum. I've tried qole instructions here, but it found out that they are not for pidgin. ( file hasn't installed anyway
So, please, help me! May be there are some libraries that should be replaced with other ones?
Best regards,
Baal
