"The state of New Jersey has already banned the use of cell phones without a hands free device and texting while behind the wheel, and using a GPS device could soon join the list. One New Jersey legislator has introduced a new bill that would make it illegal to use a non-voice operated GPS device while driving."
Isn't using non-voice gps *worse* than using a cell phone? You don't know where you are, where you're going, and you're looking at a tablet instead of the road.
well I use my tablet to navigate all the time. I would not try to put in a destination while in moving traffic, but I have done it while sitting in traffic (as in stopped).
I think with enough lead time. and large enough tiles, you're good.
Far better than paper maps I think.
