    N800 screen vibrates and scrolls by itself

    Ah, I wouldn't spell that much doom for it - we do have a bunch of people helping out , N8x0 emulators easily adaptable to Mer, VM images and friggen sharks eating you if your bootmenu version ate the installation.

    I just realized that this N800 is excellent for finding applications that does too many screen updates, as the image is stable in those instances..

    Only reason I bought from US was the fact the people in .dk selling it tried to fraud me, heh. Price wasn't that bad in EU (all things considered)

    Well, I wouldn't say that 400€ was a good price (at the time I got it from the USA at 250 shipped, and keep in mind that it was even cheaper outside of ebay).
    Officially the n810 is still 400€ here......

    I just started the exact same problem with the screen vibrating and scrolling. Is there a solution to this? My N800 is a couple of months over a year old.

    The only known solution is to replace the screen. Maybe a nokia service center could perform a less expensive repair but I doubt it (labour isn't cheap).
