I would like to use my n800 (soon to be picked up at mom's house) to view streamed video content from an irish television station. The media is meant to be viewed through a Windows Media Player applet which plays the media in the middle of the screen, much like in YouTube. If you don't have WMP installed, you get the error message to go and download it. Can this n800 manage this type of media, or is there a workaround to getting it to use it? I notice that Windows doesn't do a version of the Media Player for Linux devices...

For reference, the media is on http://www.tg4.tv (I'll assume not many of you speak Gaelic, so just click on any of the options on the left, and it will bring up some programmes)

Any thoughts?!?

Bad news dude... The site is blocking the N800 based on it's OS. You get a message of:

Operating system not supported.

Your operating system 'Linux armv6i' is not supported.

This service currently only available for Windows and Macintosh"
Pretty lame to limit machines at that level.

I tried an "interior" link: http://www.tg4.tv/channels/LiveChannel1w.aspx#, but got the same error page.
