Any win7 users here would like to comment on the win7beta and win7RC as the crippling day is coming, i.e., system shut down every 2 hours, that must be fun , how bad and what are you doing to circumvent this?

Oop goofed, win7beta cripple already started 7/1/09 and will expire by 8/01/09

I can't even get the damn thing installed because it has an error and I choose NOT download it a 3rd time JUST to try it out. I'll wait for a legit copy and see if I can swipe a free version from my college for personal use.

What is up with talk.maemo.org? It's taking forever to load pages and sometimes it just times out...

I'm using it (dual boot with ubuntu and hopefully with OSX86 soon(can't get it work, yet^^))
so much better than vista!
When it starts crippling I must give medicine... ;-)

Hmm... I used to use Windows Vista (RTM) and I got the feeling that it was always crippled...

Trim your services... and user the actual release and Vista's not half-bad. In fact, I have my Vista install running more efficiently than my WinXP machines.

I'm running Win7 in a virtual install; can say that they got more right than wrong. But as far as the RC and the RTM, the timeouts have yet to start for me.

When they do, I'm removing that virtualized install.
