Hi, is there a way to use maemo mapper without the need to be connected to internet?
I don't really see how I can use it as GPS if I need to have internet to download maps and to download the route or POI that I'm looking for!!

If MM is storing the files as GDBM (the default format), you're limited to 2gb of storage. If you're using SQlite3, you can fill it up as much as you like.
I don't really see how I can use it as GPS if I need to have internet to download maps and to download the route or POI that I'm looking for
I hope, I'm missing something. If not, could you advise me with an other software to use the GPS (except the Nokia map application which is not free)
Thank you for the help.
