Hello

Has anyone tested/used the n810 with the Parrot DS1120 Speakers via their bluetooth capability? The parrot site says they are compatible with there N series phones. N82, N95,N73,N76 and N81-8gb

Ok looks like these things require A2DP support. From reading a previous thread this looks like somewhere I do not want to venture on the N810.

Well there is a an A2DP hack.. but yeah it eats up battery and CPU usage (it does work though). Maybe in the future Mer will improve on it.

Looks like they have a dongle the transmits off the USB port of the source. Would the N810 USB port work as a source?

Ok I realized I can test this tonight. I can run my USB cable into my headroom total bithead amp. Which I think I have already done once before

why not just take the sound from the headphones jack?

I think that's certainly an option with the a5 if you want to use the line in on the speakers. But if you use the WiFi transmitter and receiver option, the transmitter plugs in via USB.

These would work fine with an A2DP dongle. I got one with a set of bluetooth headphones. It's designed to plug in on top of a iPod (30 GB/Classic size) so its about the width of an iPod, and slightly thicker. But it transmits a2dp audio from any headphone jack.
