It wont mess up your deb building script as it's disabled by default (and I didn't adapt that to support maemo-launcher) but if you build a deb with dpkg-buildpackage, you should get one that uses maemo-launcher (DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nolauncher" dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot to build w/out maemo-launcher if using the debian/ folder).The maemo-launcher is a daemon to speedup applications startup time and
memory sharing between processes. It supports booster modules, which are
the ones in charge of preinitializing and keeping the interesting state.

One thing that has always bugged me about the old browser is the lag time, especially when going back to a previous page.
Tear handles this much faster.
