Thanks for those who tried to help me get Tear going again. I still get the "missing components" message when trying to install. The missing component is still libpcre3. I still cannot install libpcre3 as I am told that it is incompatible. I also noticed that 2 major repositories, maemo's and qole's, won't refresh in application manager. When I go to the sites directly to update lib, etc. I can access them through MicroB but am told that everything within is not compatible. Should I just reset my entire system? Sorry for continuing to bug all of you about this.

I think that's the problem for you. You need to have qoles and maemo's reps working.
On another note text selection has got to be improved here. I just gave op on selecting an e-mail address. Tear insisted on highlighting the entire paragraph or one portion of the e-mail address with no way to expand or contract the selection.
