seen similar behavior when interacting with drop down menus in the past.
after doing a selection on the menu, tapping anywhere close to the menu would trigger its display again, as if i have tapped right on it...
i suspect its related to the issue with manipulating iframe scrollbars, as that would make the kinetic scroll of the whole page go wild (tho nothing seems to happen now that said kinetics are turned off).
what confuses me tho, is that i never had those kinds of issues using webkit within osso-browser (or whatever its called)...
