I'm no longer in the loop, and if I was, I'd have to be quiet... or cagey.
It's gotta be SO damn hard to keep quiet when it's something you're personally excited about... and even moreso when you see some members being so down in the dumps about some things.
I have to deal with the same sort of issues working in the game industry.
I am always a bit skeptical of these leaks... Don't companies ever do that intentionally?...
mostly those are of the mr blurrycam style. that is, you can tell there is something on the photo, but no way can you tell where the exact buttons and ports are found...

*sigh* NDAs... how I hate you so.
heh, he's been told to can the hints at least ones while working for nokia. it would not surprise me if he gets a "interesting" reminder letter from their resident lawyer if he's not careful...

It got REALLY difficult to toe the line after I was released, but Peter@MaemoMarketing revived my better side... lol. It's hard sometimes not to be petty but IMO it's worth the struggle in the long run.
But there's no way I'd go beyond the vague hints I used to drop just to keep interest going. I wasn't happy when the N800 was leaked as I was working on getting it to CES, and I imagine there are people in Nokia now who aren't too thrilled with certain events lately...
has anyone tried taking the MAC address and putting it into the maemo updates website which needs a mac address for validation to see if they can access a repository or two?
Who is allila09?
I've gotten in touch with the seller and put my bid in. Waiting for response from any of the previous buyers (there were 3 units)
if Nokia were determined to keep it secret, they might get a stooge to buy these units and to determine who the seller is and how they got hold of them - the route to market might not have been wholly legitimate.
