Well, I was just speaking to creating something that would allow more mass-development for Maemo. Apple is Apple and, well... They can do what they want. But, if everyone, no matter what platform they were comfortable with, could develop for Maemo? That would be great!

I'd be really surprised if Nokia would not already be knee-deep in adapting QtCreator for that purpose. That's not for python yet, of course, but python development itself is pretty platform independent.
