Funny, when I first loaded Linux up on a laptop about 6 years ago, it was at that time I suddenly realized how much Microsoft has really stifled innovation, development and the growth of the personal computer in general. Sure their have been changes, but when I look at my old lap top running Windows 95 and my current system running XP, while there clearly are some advances, I really wonder why after a decade I can't say "wow look are far M$ OS's have come..." Not very, thats for sure. So no, I won't be upgrading to Vista unless it comes with my next system.
(and even the Windows 95 GUI was stolen from IBM's OS/2 Warp -- now there was an operating system!)
