- Can the N800 be reset to "out-of-the-box" or back to the installation of OS2008?
- Menu "variables" - Most of the entries on the menu now show as variables; for instance, "tana_fi_my_internet" for "Internet" or "game_ap_blocks_name" for Blocks. Even going into the game, "Blocks", the buttons show as variables and not "play" OR "rss_ap_news_reader" for the RSS reader. This behavior began after I removed some apps that I no longer needed. As far as I know, they were apps I Installed. I have come across some info: http://talk.maemo.org/archive/index.php/t-23073.html. What do I need to do to restore the former menus . . .
- . . . which leads me to my next question, Editing files: I haven't proceeded to do this because I'm a noob to Linux - I downloaded "GPE File Manager", which allows me to dig into the file system, but I can't seem to launch an HTML editor or notepad by double-tapping on the file. Is this possible in OS2008. If I open the "notepad" utility that comes with the os, I can't seem to navigate beyond my Users directory. How can I get around these obstacles?
- Uninstall preinstalled apps, like "Blocks": I understand that I shouldn't be able to remove just any pre-installed app, but, com'on, "Blocks"! How can I remove this, and other games?
- I found a site, http://www.tuxfiles.org/, which is handy as a Linux tutorial. Are there any other recommended tutorials.

I will take credit for mucking things up! I moved from a Palm T|X to the N800 and I'm otherwise loving it!
Thanks for any info . . .
