Hi Guys,

I'm experiencing a weird problem with the menu system on my N800 (Diablo).

Everytime I install a new program I end up with an additional entry from Abiword in the Extras Menu. I know have over 6 entries for Abiword.

I have already tried editing the applications.menu file (/home/user/.osso/menus/applications.menu) this provides a temporary fix. As soon as I install any program I end up with several entries for Abiword.

I also noticed that my programs are not updating and that I have to uninstall and reinstall the programs for them to upgrade. As far as I know I have the correct repositories.



Can anyone help?

I think there is a known problem with Abiword and multiple application menu entries. You might want to look in this thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=29427
I don't know about your more general problem with apps not updating.
