Look here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...ghlight=bt-pan
You will also need to install a small app on your Sansung and run it whenever you want to hook it to your NIT. It works great and fast.

Hello,

I once had a Blackjack II as well; great phone but it kept dropping the data connection without fanfare. Bad when I rely upon Microsoft Exchange sync for work emails, contacts and calendar. I truly liked the phone otherwise and enjoyed 3G coverage in areas no other AT&T device could manage.

Do you have Windows Mobile 6.1? If so, you can only use internet sharing and the PAN bluetooth profile (or hunt for a hacked file that supposedly enables the DUN profile).

On your N810, download the maemo-pan application. You should then have a network called "dummy" alongside your other connection options.

On your phone, go to internet sharing, select bluetooth PAN and connect.

On your N810 connect to "dummy". You should be set!

If you have a N800 I think that you don't need maemo-pan; your tablet supports PAN all by itself (I think).

Thanks for the tips!

But i've already tried to install maemo-pan but it doesnt show me the 'dummy' connection.

the os is windows mobile 6.1, and i did enable internet sharing via bluetooth pan, but i doesn't work.

is there any way to enable the dummy connection via command line?

tks!

Sorry, anything about command line is over my head. I think I recall other users needing to restart their N810s once or twice before the "dummy" connection showed up. Give that a try. There are some threads here dedicated to maemo-pan so check those too.

When you go to internet sharing does it say "failed to connect" on your phone? Every Samsung phone I've ever tried has had real issues with internet sharing. When it was time for my upgrade I ultimately decided against the Samsung Propel Pro because it didn't have the DUN profile and internet sharing never would connect. The LG Incite's internet sharing works all the time.

Maybe try the DUN profile hack that is floating around. It will allow your phone to be used as a dial-up modem. Do a google search. If you are successfully able to install and access the DUN profile on your phone, pair it with the N810 and go through the add connection wizard.

If the N810's built-in settings for AT&T don't work, go to this link to see what you can type in to make it work. It only takes a few seconds. The link involves an AT&T Tilt but it works for any AT&T phone.
