I've been advocating these for months. They provide the protection you need, while allowing you access to the device (granted, you still have to be careful not to impale the screen).

The n810 can stand that, now, dropping the beer would make a mess, and what a waste

With the N800 and N810, the big kickstand worked well as a "safety handle" to slip your fingers through. The tiny kickstand on the N900 probably doesn't work that well.

But, I wonder if there's a wrist strap mount/hold on the N900? If not, I wonder how obtrusive it would be to put a loop through the kickstand, that you can attach to your hand.

Two things I wish/hope the N900 has is:
  • an option or skin for a rubberized coating,
  • a wrist strap, or wrist strap loop, of some sort

In Netherlands also 600 EUR. But it doesn't say when it ships.
