Thanks for reminding me. I've got one myself and I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of it. Help?

I at least have a "rm" project link in https://garage.maemo.org/my/ . But of course, I only mean totally empty projects.

The "rm" link wants me to pass admin on the project to someone else. Oh well.

What about people who provide large amounts of software that is not in the garage. Is there some way I can provide my download numbers from my websites (penguinbait.com / tablethacker.com) and have them count towards karma?
As long as your software goes through Extras and shows up in maemo.org/downloads, the rest is quite irrelevant.

Quim's answer is more or less accurate. If your software is linked at http://maemo.org/downloads/, you get karma when it's rated & downloaded. tablet-encode is not in Extras, but gets me karma. Garage has nothing to do with download karma.

I asked IF there was a way to submit my download numbers to receive karma. So again "yes here is how" or "NO you cannot" is what I was looking for.
So having a repo or website of your own and providing all the software in the world won't allow you to gain any karma.

Please don't ask questions and then make statements based on an assumed answer.

However, if an application is downloaded through http://maemo.org/downloads/, it's count is increased

I assume so, but it was not really clear to me?
To all my Maemo friends. I will no longer be monitoring any of my threads here on a regular basis. I am no longer supporting anything I did under maemo at maemo.org. If you need some help with something you can reach me at tablethacker.com or www.facebook.com/penguinbait. I have disabled my PM's here, and removed myself from Council email and Community mailing list. There has been some fun times, see you around.
