I was going from the Specs on MobileCityOnline, they were the only one to state there is a different model between the US and EU so far.

Not sure how accurate it is.

I just wrote to Nokia.ca to see if that French-Canadian support is actually there just because... Hopefully this won't be a mess like a the n810 discount code!

I'd be pre-ordering right now from nokiausa if it wasn't for the fact that they can't take Canadian postal codes as input !!()$*" :P

Wrong. That's an online retailer with erroneous pre-release specs. Do a search here. Topic has been covered.
    .
    All
N900 units ship with the same frequencies.
It's a quad band GSM device. It will "work" everywhere as a voice phone. Data will work at 2.5G (EDGE) speeds everywhere.

The ongoing 900, 1700 and 2100Mhz frequency discussions concern the 3G data connection.

Anyone know which of the companies that are selling the N900 actually do international shipping? NokiaUSA only has USA as available addresses to enter and Amazon won't ship the N900 to my country.

I bought the N800 from Amazon but that was 6 months after it was released, not a pre-order etc.

ExpansysHK do international shipping AFAIK. Unfortunately they've upped their pricing recently - it worked out a great deal cheaper before. There are some companies that do mail proxies but I've no experience with any.

the http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=187417 seems to be the cheapest so far, I should just wait till launch date to see what all the final prices are.
